Jane Anne Staw is an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco, in the M.F.A. in Writing Program.  She has taught writing at Stanford University and the University of Iowa.  A published poet with an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Iowa, she is the author of Unstuck: A Supportive and Practical Guide to Working Through Writer’s Block (Saint Martin’s Press) and co-author of Parsnips in the Snow, with Mary Swander (University of Iowa Press). Once a blocked writer, she now works with writers to help liberate them from all writing inhibitions.
